A trapezoidal screw is advantageously used in applications with lower speeds and where the same level of precision is not required. Trapezoidal screws are therefore a cost-effective alternative to ball screws.
There is a large selection of different variants, such as rolled, swirled and ground trapezoidal screws. The screws are used, among other things, in jacks, as adjusting screws and as lifting screws.
