One product, so many uses!

We’ve previously written about how we created a Lean Production setup with an ergonomically designed packing station in our workshop. This time, let’s highlight another use case: safety enclosures for both machines and people.

Building machine guards with aluminum profiles gives you lots of flexibility in terms of design and allows you to tailor them exactly to your needs. Before building a guard, consider whether you’re protecting the machine or its surroundings.

• If you're protecting the machine, a tight enclosure will prevent dirt and dust from entering.
• If the surroundings need protection, for example from moving parts, then a more open guard with glass panels may be enough – just something that prevents people from getting too close.

You can integrate doors, hatches, and more to make maintenance easy.

Our partner Bosch Rexroth has developed a concept called EcoSafe. EcoSafe – maximum safety, fully compliant with all applicable standards and regulations. The EcoSafe components come with preassembled side frames, making them quick to construct and easy to modify.
