Roller rail guides

A roller guide has rollers in the carriage's four raceways, but otherwise functions according to the same principle as a ball guide. The rollers allow it to handle higher load capacity as well as improved precision and rigidity. The advantages of rollers in the carriage include significantly improved energy efficiency.

A roller guide

Description

Our roller guideways are available in sizes from 25–125 mm and up to 6000 mm in full length. It is also possible to butt-joint rails if longer guideways are needed. Roller guideways have been specially developed for machine tools, industrial robots, general mechanical engineering, and more.

Our roller guideways are characterized by having lubrication ports on all sides for maximum ease of maintenance. They also require minimal lubrication thanks to an innovative channel design.

The roller guideways are quiet-running thanks to an optimally designed roller return and guidance system. They also offer maximum rigidity under loads from all directions, due to two central mounting screw holes in the carriage.

With our roller guideways, you get unlimited interchangeability since all roller guideways can be combined with each other.

Roller Rails

A roller rail and a roller carriage together make up a roller guideway. Roller rails are available in a variety of sizes and can be cut to the desired length. If roller rails longer than 4 meters are needed, a butt-joint can be made.

Roller Carriages

Roller carriages, also called travel carriages, glide bearings, skate bearings, linear bearings, etc., are mounted on a roller rail and, together with components such as a ball screw, perform the linear movement. There are various types of roller carriages in terms of appearance, size, preload class, and tolerance class. Roller carriages are especially beneficial when handling very high loads, such as in press and stamping applications.
